Internet settings for Netscape 3
This document describes how to configure Netscape 3 for proper use with CuraNet.

• In Netscape, Go to "Options" in the menu bar (see image). This will open a "pulldown menu".
  
• In here go to "General Preferences".
  
• At: "Browser starts with: box you will see: "http://home.netscape.com". Change this into: www.cura.net finish with Ok.
  
• Go to "Options" and click on "Mail and News Preferences".
  
• Select the "Servers" tab, and fill in the following:
  Outgoing Mail server: mailhub.cura.net
  Incoming Mail server: popmail.cura.net
  News server: news.cura.net
  
• Now, select the "Identity" tab, and fill in the following:
  Your Name: Firstname Lastname
  Your E-mail: yourusername@cura.net
  And close this menu with Ok.
  
  The following is for Windows 3.11 user only:
  You have to edit your "netscape.ini" file.
  
  
• Open a text editor. In here, open "netscape.ini" (this file is in the netscape directory on your harddisk).
  
• Search for (network)
  
• Change "Async...DNS=yes" to "Async...DNS=no"
  
• Save the netscape.ini file.
