	This kitten, aged about three months, was found at Jan Thiel Oost on September 24th.

Identification tag of utmost importance!!

Dogs and cats are regularly found wandering the streets on our island. Concerned animal lovers bring them to the shelter, afraid that the animal might be run over by a car or might suffer hunger and thirst. What is amazing is that whilst that these animals often wear collars, they seldom have identification on them, and this may lead to a wandering animal being collected, re-homed, or even euthanized if we are unable to locate its owner. We urge all owners to write their name and telephone number on the reverse side of collars or to buy an identification plate. In this way we easily can find the owners of these lost wanderers!
